You no longer have to look for rocks when sorting pinto beans. America has finally figured out how to remove the rocks from the beans while China builds high-speed rail.
Meanwhile, America tried to build high-speed rail in California, but billions of dollars have been spent and the project has become a symbol of delay, waste, bureaucracy, and political failure.
Something is wrong when politicians become wealthy while ordinary Americans are told there is never enough money to fix roads, build infrastructure, or solve basic problems.
And sometimes, if you looked only at the tax returns of billionaires, you might think they were homeless.
I am tired of Democrats fighting Republicans and Republicans fighting Democrats while the country keeps paying the bill.
So I am thinking about starting a new peaceful movement.
I will call it:
THE WAY
Not left.
Not right.
A BETTER WAY.
A movement based on truth, accountability, common sense, honest government, and putting the American people ahead of political parties.
America can rise again but first we have to stop pretending everything is working.
